Senior outside linebacker Dylan Oliver, CiCi’s Pizza Dutch Fork Player of the Week, is very possibly the most productive football player in the Midlands that hardly anyone outside of the Silver Foxes’ fan base has heard of.

At 5-9, 160 pounds, Oliver is relatively small for a linebacker, not to mention one who makes plays at the rate #33 for the Dutch Fork “D” does.

But the numbers don’t lie.

Oliver is second on the Silver Foxes with 102 total tackles (62 solo) and first on defensive coordinator Nick Pelham’s unit in tackles for loss (28), sacks (10), and QB hurries (19) while also forcing two fumbles, blocking a kick and getting his first interception of the year in last week’s 42-7 blowout of White Knoll in the third round of the playoffs.

The Foxes host Fort Dorchester at 7:30 tonight with the 5A Lower State championship and a trip to Williams-Brice next weekend on the line.

Great job Dylan and best of luck tonight against Ft. D!
