Freshman Ke’shoun Williams, the CiCi’s Pizza Batesburg-Leesville Player of the Week, figures to be a big factor in Friday night’s 2A third round playoff match-up with Bamberg-Ehrhardt.

Williams, a 6-0, 165-pounder who starts at free safety and wide receiver for the Panthers and also gets plenty of snaps at QB for coach Perry Woolbright’s team, was outstanding in B-L’s 42-7 road win over Andrews last Friday and hopes for a big game tonight against B-E.

The Panthers handed Bamberg-Ehrhardt a 41-20 defeat back on a October 14 in the teams’ Region 5 regular season meeting, a loss that has turned out to be the only blemish on the Red Raiders (11-1) season to date.

Great job, Ke’shoun!
